Following a comprehensive recruitment process, Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby (GBWR) is delighted to announce that Ed Warner OBE has been appointed to the Board of Trustees with immediate effect and will take over from the current Chair, Kevin Aitchison, when he stands down in September 2020. New Wheelchair Rugby Club Developed in Crawley

GBWR staff have supported the development of a new Wheelchair Rugby 5s club which will be part of Crawley Rugby Club and called Crawley Jets. GBWR has been working with Crawley Rugby Club in West Sussex to look at how they could offer wheelchair rugby as part of their club and, with support from local sports centre K2, weekly wheelchair rugby sessions have now been established. Welcome to the Jesters Wheelchair Rugby

Following successful taster sessions lead by GBWR Regional Development Officer Lee Parry last year, GBWR has been working with Richmond Council and the Harlequins Foundation to launch a new wheelchair rugby club.
