You can register, or login, via our Membership portal.

Joining as a Member of GBWR connects you to the wider wheelchair rugby community, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the game and learn from experienced athletes, including current and former Paralympians across the country.

GBWR Membership is on an annual basis, so you’ll have 12 months of Membership from the date of registration – you’ll receive a reminder shortly before your renewal is due. Your club may also be able to register your Membership on your behalf – contact your club rep for more information.

All GBWR Members are required to adhere to the Membership Rules and relevant Code(s) of Conduct.

Below you’ll find more information on the benefits of Membership, the categories of Membership we offer, and also more information about registering as a Junior.

Junior Membership

We offer a range of Membership options for young people, and in line with good safeguarding, we have additional requirements in place to ensure young people are properly looked after in our sport – please see the relevant Membership category below for more detail on these requirements.

Where documents are required in support of the young person’s application, these should be no older than 6 months prior to the date of the application, and will last for 18 months, ensuring that it is valid for the duration of the annual Membership.

All Junior, Junior Programme and Junior Associate Membership applications are subject to review by the Chief Executive (or as appropriately delegated) and are activated on the Membership portal once the required agreements / documents have been provided and GBWR is content that these satisfy our requirements.

Please feel welcome to contact if any questions.
