Justin Frishberg to stand down as Assistant Coach

Justin Frishberg has announced that he is standing down as assistant coach to GB Wheelchair Rugby with immediate effect. Justin has held the position since 2013, and together with Head Coach Paul Shaw is credited with building the new and exciting squad that won the European Championships in 2015 and did well in Rio.  Justin’s technical and tactical astuteness has been evident throughout the period and those new to the squad have benefitted significantly from his experience and wisdom. GB Wheelchair Rugby Paralympian Alan Ash Announces Retirement

Great Britain’s longest serving wheelchair rugby Paralympian Alan Ash has announced his retirement from international wheelchair rugby. The 43 year old started his international career in 1995 playing in the first ever World Wheelchair Rugby Championships in Switzerland. Dorset Destroyers celebrate 2 year anniversary with kit launch

Stonewall #RainbowLaces Campaign

The Rainbow Laces campaign started in 2013 as a partnership between Paddy Power and Stonewall. It was focused on football specifically, and on promoting acceptance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) football players. Over a series of high profile campaign weeks, dozens of Premier League footballers wore Rainbow Laces, the Metro Newspaper did a #RainbowLaces takeover, the campaign video with Arsenal attracted 1.4 million views, and 30% of the British population heard about the campaign.
