A creative partnership to grow wheelchair rugby from the grassroots up
Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby (GBWR) is excited to announce a new partnership with OS Studios, who join us as our Official Marketing Strategy & Fan Engagement Partner and 28 for 28 Partners.
This partnership aims to strengthen the sport at every level, from 3v3 and WR5s to our national teams, helping players, volunteers, and fans feel more connected, more visible, and more supported.
What This Means for You
Whether you’re a player, coach, volunteer, or club supporter, this partnership is designed to provide you with:
- More visibility for your club and players through storytelling that highlights the heart of our sport.
- Support for grassroots growth, with campaigns that celebrate wheelchair rugby, community events, and local heroes.
- Tools and resources to help clubs attract new members, engage volunteers, and build stronger community ties.
“We know wheelchair rugby is more than just a game, it’s a place where people find belonging, resilience, and purpose. OS Studios will help us share those stories in ways that inspire others to get involved.”
Jason Brisbane, CEO of GBWR.
“The most powerful stories happen off the court, before a ball is ever thrown. We will engage the community, empower every voice, and elevate volunteers, fans, athletes, and partners to have an impact far beyond the court.”
Paul Guest, Head of Strategy of OS Studios
Who Are OS Studios?
OS Studios is a creative agency with a track record of helping sports and community organisations grow their reach. They’ve worked with global brands and athletes, but what makes them the right fit for GBWR is their focus on authentic storytelling and community impact.
They’ll help us build campaigns that reflect the real spirit of wheelchair rugby – from WR5s and 3v3, to elite competition and the Paralympics – and make sure our members are at the heart of everything we do.
Welcome as 28 for 28 Partners
We’re also proud to welcome OS Studios as a 28 for 28 partner, joining our mission to grow the sport in the lead-up to the LA28 Paralympic Games.
Looking Ahead
Over the coming months, you’ll start to see new content celebrating our clubs, players, and volunteers. From behind-the-scenes videos to spotlight stories, we’ll be showing the world what makes wheelchair rugby so special.
This partnership is part of our wider strategy to grow the sport; including our journey to the LA28 Paralympic Games, but it starts with you: the people who make wheelchair rugby what it is.
Let’s move Forward Together.
