The GB squad have been hard at it in their final camp ahead of the Canada Cup in Vancouver next week. This will be the first big test for the new squad as they get to play some of the top teams in the world including Australia, Canada and Japan. The team is looking fit and it is good to see Manni and Chris back and fully recovered from their injuries. Good luck to them for their final big tournament ahead of the World Championships in August. Meanwhile the first Talent camp took place at Lillishall last week where athletes were introduced to the elite pathway and got to understand about the commitment and expectations that are fundamental to the elite player journey. National Titles Go To Storm & Pirates & the Mayor of London Launches WWRC15

By any organisation’s standards this has been another fantastic week for us. It began at Stoke on Trent where after a week’s festival of rugby, the National Championships took place at Fenton Manor. It was probably the best Nationals I have seen – well organised, more athletes, more teams, more officials and volunteers and some really competitive games. Congratulations to Pirates who won the Shield and to Storm who won the final of the Cup against Crash. It was especially good to see new teams in action and I met some of the volunteers who are behind the new Canterbury team who we hope to see in the league and Nationals next season. A big thank you to Roma Sports who sponsored the even...

GB Teams Star in Europe Ahead of National Championships

Congratulations to West Coast Crash, London Lions, Marauders Tigers and Burn all of who were medal winners at this year's Bernd Best Tournament. It was fantastic to see Crash win the Champions League and  Burn the Advanced League - really well done to both. Bernd Best is a great club tournament and the success of our teams is witness to the growing strength of our club and league system. The next focus for most clubs will be the National Championships which are just over 2 weeks away. This year we are promoting the Nationals as a 'week of wheelchair rugby' in Stoke on Trent. We have teamed up with partners in the city to provide opportunities for people to get involved with the game and to ...
