Wheelchair Rugby 5s rolled into Sport Arena Kettering for Tournament Three of the 2025 Allied Mobility WR5s League, bringing two days of high-energy action, fierce competition, and community spirit. With teams battling across four divisions and international referees joining from Sweden, Portugal, and the Czech Republic, the weekend was a true celebration of the sport. From dramatic last-minute tries to standout individual performances, the event showcased the very best of WR5s.

Livestream Update – Apology from GBWR
We would like to sincerely apologise for the lack of livestream coverage from the tournament on the GBWR YouTube channel. Unfortunately, due to no Wi-Fi or mobile signal at the venue in Sport Arena Kettering, we were unable to broadcast the matches as planned.
We understand how important the livestream is for families, fans, and supporters who can’t attend in person. We are actively working on a solution and are in the process of purchasing new Wi-Fi equipment to ensure reliable coverage for next season.

Saturday Highlights
League 1
- RGC were dominant, going unbeaten with wins over Endeavour Punishers (31–8), West Country Hawks (25–15), Saracens (26–7), and Dragons (22–14).
- Dragons also impressed, securing wins over Endeavour Punishers, West Country Hawks, and Saracens.
- West Country Hawks picked up two wins, while Endeavour Punishers edged Saracens 21–20 in a close contest.
League 2
- LT Swifts were the standout team, going unbeaten with big wins over Harlequins, Burton, and Brighton, and a narrow 20–17 win over Harlequins in a rematch.
- Harlequins showed resilience, defeating Brighton and Burton.
- Burton Wheelchair Rugby split their results, beating Brighton twice.
- Brighton Buccaneers struggled to find momentum, however, they fought valiantly.
Sunday Showdowns – Championship & Premiership
Championship Division
- Penrith Pumas were unstoppable, winning all four matches including a 31–16 victory over Berkshire Banshees Green.
- Crawley Jets secured second place with three wins, including a 31–4 rout of Coventry Stampede.
- Ospreys edged Coventry in their final match to avoid a winless weekend.
Premiership Division
- Leicester Tigers were flawless, winning all four matches, including a 30–15 win over Northampton Saints and a 23–13 win over Help for Heroes.
- Help for Heroes finished strong with three wins, including a 25–17 victory over North East Barbarians.
- Northampton Saints and North East Barbarians each picked up key wins, while Solent Sharks Red were unable to convert strong starts into wins.
