Tender for the Provision of Rugby Wheelchairs

Following a highly successful partnership with its current provider, GB Wheelchair Rugby is now retendering its contract to supply rugby wheelchairs for use by its members and member clubs in various locations around the country. The tender is for the supply of both offensive and defensive rugby wheelchairs which must conform to the regulations and specifications as stipulated by the International Wheelchair Rugby Federation. Kevin Aitchison Awarded MBE in New Year’s Honours

Kevin Aitchison, former chair GBWR is recognized by HM the Queen with the award of an MBE Congratulations to Kevin Aitchison who became an MBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List for services to GB Wheelchair Rugby and disabled people. It is a fitting recognition for Kevin who first became interested in the sport when he attended the Paralympic Games in Christchurch, New Zealand in 2006.
