In memory of Alan Ash

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Alan ‘Ashy’ Ash.

Alan was a well-loved athlete and member of the wheelchair rugby family here and across the world, having been involved in the sport since 1995.

Alan played in the first ever World Wheelchair Rugby Championship in Switzerland and went on to compete at five Paralympic Games – Atlanta, Sydney, Athens, Beijing, and Rio. A coach at West Coach Crash and for the GB talent programme, Alan has played a key role in the growth of wheelchair rugby in Great Britain. Our thoughts and prayers go to Alan’s friends, family, and teammates at this difficult time.
