Swansea’s Llandarcy Academy of Sport was treated to a rugby spectacular when Welsh International Paul Thornburn captained an all-star team including John Devereux, Leigh Davies and Kristian Phillips to take on the South Wales Pirates in a wheelchair rugby exhibition match.
With special guests including entertainer Max Boyce and International sportswoman Non Evans MBE the match marked the first time GBWR and the TREAT had worked together to profile wheelchair rugby in Wales.
