The final Division One weekend of the season will take place in Walsall this weekend as we see eight of the best teams from across the UK and Ireland go wheel-to-wheel for domestic glory, writes Nathaniel Holland.
All of our GB squad are set to be representing their clubs in what will be their last competitive matches ahead of the Quad Nations tournament in Leicester next month.
It is all to play for at the top of the table with just two points separating Leicester Tigers and West Coast Crash; DMP Bulls has an outside shot at the title in third place and just five points off top.
It is equally as tight at the bottom of the table with just three points separating the bottom three sides with Gaelic Warriors, Crusaders and Canterbury sitting in 8th, 7th and 6th respectively.
Last season’s winners London Storm have endured a mixed season and they sit in fourth position with 10 points – equal with Team Solent Sharks in fifth. Sharks could equal, if not better, their best ever Super Series finish when they finished fifth with 12 points in the 2016/17 season.
