Tickets for the 2023 Wheelchair Rugby European Championship are now available to purchase from Ticketmaster.
Subscribers to email updates for the tournament can take advantage of an ‘early bird’ offer to save 10% on tickets until 31 January 2023. The email can be subscribed to here.
The tournament – which is taking place at Cardiff’s iconic Principality Stadium from 3 to 7 May next year – is set to be a spectacular showcase of one of the most popular Paralympic sports and will see Great Britain’s Tokyo 2020 gold medal winners going head-to-head with the top seven teams in Europe for the opportunity to be crowned European champions and to secure qualification for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
For hardcore fans who don’t want to miss a hit, multi-day tickets are available, while others can take in a slice of the action from £10 for adults, with all under-16 tickets just £1.
Accessible tickets are available, and complimentary companion tickets are being offered to all purchasing a wheelchair viewing ticket for the event. Anyone who would like further advice about attending the event with accessibility requirements can contact the organisers on access@wreuro23.com.

Following the official competition draw at the historic Cardiff Castle, fixtures for the tournament’s group matches have been confirmed. Host nation Great Britain will open the tournament against European Championship debutants Israel on Wednesday 3 May. The full schedule can be found here.
Following the draw, Great Britain’s Paralympic gold medallist Stuart Robinson MBE said:
“No matter the pool, this was always going to be a tough draw – after Paris earlier in the year, we’re raring to go and hopefully we’ll come away with a win next year.
“The Principality Stadium is such an iconic venue to play in too, for us to have the opportunity to go out there and perform in front of such a massive stadium and to bring some amazing teams over is incredible.
“After Tokyo, we have the eyes of the world on us as Paralympic champions – now we’ll be back on home soil with home support so hopefully we’ll get the opportunity to right some wrongs!”
David Pond, Chair of the WREURO23 Board added:
“We’re tremendously excited. This event is everything I could have dreamed of, after a very competitive bid a couple of years ago. I always wanted to bring this event to Wales, so it’s going to be special, never been done before and the first time in a venue like this.
