Biography
Faye West is a dynamic and accomplished wheelchair rugby player, proudly representing Great Britain on the international stage. Classified as a 3.5 player, Faye brings power, precision, and leadership to the court.
Inspired by the success of Team GB at the London 2012 Paralympics, Faye took up the sport that same year and has since carved out a remarkable career. She previously captained the West Country Hawks, leading them to their first-ever national title, before joining the Leicester Tigers Wheelchair Rugby team for the 2024/25 season.
Faye has been a key member of the GBWR squad since 2022, earning a silver medal at the European Championships in the same year. She is one of only two women currently in the national team setup, and continues to be a trailblazer for women in the sport.
With her sights now set on La 2028 Paralympic Games, Faye remains a fierce competitor and an inspiring figure in British wheelchair rugby.
