GBWR was pleased to donate a signed wheelchair rugby ball from the BT World Wheelchair Rugby Challenge 2015 as a prize at a BBRFSC fundraising dinner late last year.
The ball was won by John Batters, President of Hertfordshire Wooden Spoon, who recycled it into their own fundraising activities. Through this, the ball was gratefully received by Kyran (pictured above).
Rachael, Kyran’s mother, has thanked everyone involved as the game of wheelchair rugby has changed her son’s life completely and given him a goal to achieve, and he has enjoyed putting faces to names against the signed ball too!
