GBWR are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a limited number of wheelchair rugby coaches to attend a performance pathway weekend training camp to observe and learn from the pathway coaches and wider team.
The Performance Pathway Coaching Experience will take place on Saturday, 13 July and Sunday, 14 July 2024 at Lilleshall National Sport Centre, Nr Telford, TF10 9AT.
There is also an opportunity to attend an optional Friday evening session aswell as the main sessions taking place at no extra cost.

The Performance Pathway Coaching Experience will include:
- Pre-camp online meeting going through the session plan for the camp
- Opportunity to attend team meetings on Friday and Saturday evening and team debrief on Sunday afternoon
- Opportunity to observe coaching and sessions
- Small group session on the ‘How to’s’ of coaching with Lee Parry
- Technical wheelchair rugby session with Ayaz Bhuta
- Rules quiz and scenario session with Dale Thompson
- Opportunity to co-create part of session with the pathway coaches and to observe it being delivered
- Q and A session with all pathway staff present
Spaces are very limited and we expect very high demand.
Tickets are priced at £60 per person which includes a £30 refundable deposit (on attendance), lunch on both Saturday and Sunday aswell as dinner on Saturday evening.
Due to expected high demand and limited spaces there will be no refunds for withdrawal pre-event unless owing to extenuating circumstances or we are able to re-fill your space prior to the event.
