Grace McGowan sets Parallel London Record

Following a car accident in 2014, Grace McGowan became paralysed from the chest down. But earlier this month, with the use of a ReWalk exoskeleton suit, she managed to complete a 1km course in record time at the 2017 Parallel London event. Completing the challenge in 40 minutes and six seconds, McGowan broke the UK record for her category. Parallel London is an event designed for all people of all ages and abilities. BT Super Series Preview

The BT Super Series is back! 20 teams across three divisions will go wheel-to-wheel on the court to compete for national titles up and down the UK. Entering its sixth season, the BT Super Series is stronger than ever with a record twenty teams, matching last season’s team entries. Mowden Park Launch Wheelchair Rugby Team

Darlington Mowden Park are delighted to announce that they have teamed up with a local wheelchair rugby team to form the DMP Bulls. The team, who previously competed as the North East Bulls, will become fully-fledged club members under the Mowden Park constitution. The DMP Bulls will compete in the highest level of club competition, Division One of the BT Super Series, and will begin their campaign on Saturday 30th September in the first of three league weekends.
