WR5s Summer League Finals Preview

The final weekend of the 2018 inaugural Wheelchair Rugby 5s Summer League rolls into the Stoke Mandeville Stadium on Sunday (September 2nd) with teams battling it out to win the trophy. After two tournaments in May and June, the teams have now been split into a Premiership and Championship meaning that there is plenty to play for. Dorset Destroyers are the only side who are yet to taste defeat this season as they go into the final weekend as favourites for the title. They will be joined by strong opposition in the shape of Westcountry Hawks, Stoke Mandeville Maulers, Leicester Tigers, Team Solent Sharks and Ospreys. Yorkshire Lions secured promotion to the Super Series Division One following a tense overtime victory over Westcountry Hawks at the weekend. The 2017/18 Super Series draws to a close this weekend as Division Two heads to Leigh Sports Village on July 21st/22nd.
