GBWR’s mass disability sports participation programme, RugbyWheels, was launched last night at the Percy Hedley Sports Academy. With support from the Newcastle Falcons and the North East’s premier wheelchair rugby club, The North East Bulls the launch event has inspired the development of the first RugbyWheels satellite club. The National programme got off to a fantastic start and will now be rolled out across the country. The inclusive initiative encourages as many people as possible with a disability to try wheelchair rugby.
