GBWR Consultation Process
As a Member of the IWRF, GBWR has received notification that the IWRF 2014 General Assembly will be held on Sunday 3 August in Odense, Denmark in conjunction with the IWRF World Championships. The business will include the election of President, Vice President, Athlete Representative and Member at Large. Details of the Assembly can be found at the IWRF website www.iwrf.com
GBWR has formed an International Relations Management Group (IMG) to deal with all international matters. This group is chaired by Richard Allcroft who is a Member of the IWRF Board and also includes John Timms who heads up the IWRF Competitions Committee, Ross Morrison who is currently the IWRF Athlete Representative, Sarah Leighton who is the GBWR Head Classifier and myself. The IMG will act to ensure that GBWR’s position is properly presented at the General Assembly.
Individual GBWR members have an opportunity to propose motions and nominations to the IMG and also to comment on the motions and nominations that will be put before the General Assembly. The IMG will review these and agree the GBWR position to take at the Assembly. The procedure and timelines for proposing motions and nominations and for comment is as follows:

11 June 2014
IMG reviews any motions and/or nominations, agrees GBWR’s position and as required formally submits any GBWR motions and/or nominations to IWRF
20 June 2014
GBWR receives formal notification from IWRF of the final motions and nominations to be put before the Assembly
24 June 2014
The motions and nominations will be placed on the GBWR website for members to consider.
