The GB Talent Development Squad fly out to Birmingham Alabama on the 14 November 2022, for a week long training camp with the USA Development team. The talent squad is supplemented by three players from the elite team, who have been added to support their individual development and to share their experience with the talent players.
Lee Parry, Pathway Head Coach said:
“It’s a great opportunity for the players in GB Talent Development Squad to experience a taste of international competition. It won’t just be about what happens on court, but also allowing the players to develop their own organisation and self-management, to best prepare them in the future. The players have worked hard in understanding their own development plans, listening to nutritional advice and putting together game plans in preparation for the trip ahead. As a coaching team, it will also be a valuable experience to reflect on what we do, to develop, enhance and improve our offer to players in the performance pathway. I have no doubt the players and staff will take a lot from this opportunity, and we look forward to showcasing what our rising stars are capable of in the United States.”
