The fourteen person-athlete squad remains with some its highly experienced and well-known athletes, whilst in addition welcomes some newer developing talent.
The squad now fully focuses on competing at the European Championships in May, which will be held in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. The 2023 Europeans will also be the qualification for the 2024 Paris Paralympics, so is a key competition in the GB team’s calendar.
Commenting on the selection GB Head coach Paul Shaw said:
“I’m really excited to be working with this group of athletes. Our focus over the next five months is to develop the squad to gain Paralympic qualification in Paris 2024. Having the European Championships in our own country for the first time is a great honour, being able to compete in front of a home crowd is a big incentive for us to be successful.”
