On 10th April 2019, E.J. Churchill and champion clay pigeon shooter George Digweed MBE are hosting a shoot to raise funds for GBWR! George has won 26 world titles (13 Sporting, 11 Fitasc and 2 Compak), 19 European titles (15 Fitasc and 4 Compak), 4 European Compak titles, and 12 world cups. George is husband to Kate, who you will remember as the owner of racehorse Rothman whose impressive race winnings were kindly donated to GBWR.

The shoot will take place in the stunning surroundings of West Wycombe Park by the kind permission of Sir Edward Dashwood Bt. E.J. Churchill is based on the Estate and is very much the Home of Shooting, comprising the famous gunmakers, established in 1891, and the shooting ground. The latter, covering about thirty-five acres, is the largest such ground in the country and has won the award for the Best Shooting Ground on a number of occasions.

George will lay out five game stands in the Park to include Grouse, Pheasant and Partridge, and the day will include breakfast, a mid-morning break, drinks on the South Colonnade, followed by lunch, prize giving and auction.

Places are available for participants and non-shooting guests, too.
