Sunday 15th March 2015 saw the Dorset Destroyers play their first ever match, after just 12 hours training. The match was an away friendly against local rivals Team Solent Sharks and Hammerheads in Southampton.
The match started off with both teams matching each other for pace and goals. Luke White (Destroyers’ Coach) organised the Destroyers so that all players had the chance to play in the friendly.
It was a closely fought game and at the final whistle, a 36-36 draw was recorded.
