Division Three Preview

The BT Super Series returns this weekend with the opening Division Three fixtures of the 2017/18 season.

Four teams will go head-to-head at the Stoke Mandeville Stadium this weekend in a packed two days of wheelchair rugby.

Ulster Barbarians will be making their Super Series debut in Stoke Mandeville this weekend and will compete against Woodbridge Warriors, Team Solent Hammerheads and Brighton Buccaneers.

Brighton will be competing in their second season, having made their debut in the competition last season. This will be Hammerhead’s fifth season in the Super Series, stretching back to the 2013-14 campaign. They dropped down to Division Three in 2015 and will be gearing up for their third season at this level.

Woodbridge made their Super Series debut back in 2014, competing for two seasons before a year-long break in the 2016-17 season. They return back in Division Three at the expense of Dorset Destroyers who chose not to enter a team this time around.

Games will take place from 9am on Saturday and Sunday and it is a free event for spectators.
