Suzy is an expert in building and leading world-class brand partnerships and communications campaigns.
As BT’s charity and community director, Suzy is responsible for BT’s global charity and community strategy, and the company’s publicly stated goal to generate more than £1bn for good causes by 2020 through its technology and the skills of its people. She ensures that both the company’s charity partnerships and its volunteering programme help to bring BT’s purpose – to use the power of communications to make a better world – to life, advising the Chairman, Board and Operating Committee.
Previously Suzy was part of the BT Group Marketing & Brand leadership team where she led on all aspects of communications for BT’s successful London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games partnership. She is passionate about disability sport, having led on BT’s Paralympic activation, including running the annual BT Paralympic World Cup event in Manchester, and managing BT’s relationships with Paralympic athletes.
Born in Kidderminster in the West Midlands, Suzy now splits her time between London and Norfolk. She’s a keen sports fan and is particularly enthusiastic about cricket and rugby, including wheelchair rugby.
