Lauren is a highly experienced sports development professional with over 15 years’ experience in local government, National Governing Bodies and the leisure sector and has a successful track record of leading and developing national sports strategy and programmes. Alongside this Lauren has been involved in disability sport both professionally and as a volunteer in a variety of roles and is currently a coach education tutor and assessor for Boccia England as well as sitting on their board as a Trustee since 2015.

Most recently Lauren has been managing the GLL Community Foundation which has successfully supported over 30 local projects in the last three years and aims to help people to be active, learn and play together making a positive impact in local communities. Lauren is also an experienced project manager and has successfully led projects in a wide range of areas including volunteering, behaviour change initiatives, the development of new schools offers, and children and young people initiatives.

In her spare time Lauren plays hockey and umpires for her local team as well as road running up to half marathon distance. She was also a Gamesmaker at London 2012 for the Paralympics.
