The Hartlepool Mail Disabled sports personality of the year award 2014 was awarded to 20 year old Luke Twizell. Luke plays for the North East Bulls WRC and was recently selected for the Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby Development Squad.
Luke also recently won the award for best 1.5 pt player at the GBWR Super Series Division 2 competition in November 2014.

The West Midlands Warriors (WMW) WRC are a developing club which cater for the whole of the West Midlands. The club has recently formed a partnership with the Worcester Warriors rugby club. The rugby club are supporting the WMW to recruit volunteers and players.
The club welcomes all levels of experience and any one just interested in an additional training session.

Former England Hockey player and Sport England Project Manager to head World Wheelchair Rugby Community Programme

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Bunnage as the 2015 WWRC Community Programme Manager. The post which is supported by Sport England funding will ensure that we maximise the opportunity that WWRC15 presents by building community programmes and events which increase the opportunities for people to volunteer, play and support our game.
Phil Zealey as the lead talent development coach, and Ross Morrison the Talent Assistant Coach selected the following Talent Development squad to compete in Rugby Mania 5-7 December 2014. The Squad has been training hard over the summer months, and will compete for the first time as a team at the Rugby Mania Tournament.
